Sherritt International Corporation mines and refines nickel from the its mine located in Moa, Cuba and refines the metal in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada. The Moa mine produces class I nickel and high-grade cobalt products. The Moa mine is 50% owned by each of Sherritt and General Nickel Company S.A. of Cuba.
