The Battery Metals Association of Canada (BMAC) is a trade organization of entrepreneurs, explorers, developers and producers of battery metals and materials, who have joined together to support a rapidly changing energy landscape.
What we share is a desire to develop battery metals resources and to incorporate these materials into a battery production stream.
As a national non-profit association, BMAC will connect the industry and lead the effort to ensure Canada fully captures the abundant economic potential of its massive resources through the responsible and sustainable growth of Canada’s battery metals supply chain.
Canada has what it takes to lead the global energy transition - from abundant critical minerals to industrial strengths across the battery value chain. But unlocking this potential requires bold strategy, national coordination, and regionally informed action. Learn how Canada can maximize the economic, security, social, and environmental benefits these developments can bring.
This two-day conference brought together major participants from across the mine-to-OEM supply chain for high-caliber discussions not heard anywhere else: insightful discussions focused on the state of the market, the outlook for rare earth free motors, financing, geopolitics, the pulse of capital markets and the state of ESG and LCA's from the OEM's perspective.
The third version of BMAC's battery industry Ecosystem Map includes two new geographic views, mapping out the battery value chain and commodities across Canada. These maps are all-encompassing visual depictions of the diverse and interconnected entities and materials that form the battery metals sector.
